IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING BUILDING PERMITS

Please be reminded that ANY construction which is visible from the street, the water or your neighbors' property must have previously approved plans and have a building permit issued unless it is a repair which does not change at all the appearance of the item being repaired.

Failure to get a permit can result in a fine for the owner and/or a requirement that the improvements be completely removed.  This can be very expensive for the homeowner and puts the Architectural Control Committee and the Director in charge of compliance in the uncomfortable position of having to be a policeman with respect to the deed restrictions.
